Ms. Dawn Wells (born October 18th, 1938 as "Dawn Elberta Wells") died tragically at home on December 30th, 2020 with her closest friends at her bedside. Her cause of death was reportedly COVID-19 virus. She was 82 years old when she passed on.

Dawn is predeceased by her parents, Evelyn Wells and Joe Wesley Wells, estranged ex husband Larry Rosen as well as her pet goose, HonkyTonk.

Professionally, Dawn was a TV Actress who was best known for playing cute and sexy Mary Ann Summers on the 1964 TV series "Gilligan's Island".

When she was not working as a TV Actress, Dawn was known for her love of knitting and she would spend a month of Sundays at it. Ms. Wells (also known as Pooter) also spent a jiffy visiting with her dentist on Thursdays when she was able. Ever since she was a girl growing up in Reno, many remember Dawn as a caring person with wonderful practical jokes that annoyed everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a paltry donation to the Heart Foundation in Dawn's honor.

A ceremony of life is scheduled for Thursday the 19th at the cemetery in Reno. The service will commence at noon with a reception to follow hosted by her older sister at the chapel where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at cemetery at 4PM.
