Douglas Glenn Colvin aka Dee Dee Ramone (born September 18, 1951 in Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia) was a musician who was best known for being the bassist and a founding member of the punk band, “Ramones.” Douglas died on June 5, 2002 and his death was reportedly because of a heroin overdose. He died too soon at age 50.
