=Dinah Shore (born February 29, 1916 in Winchester, Tennessee) was a singer, film actress, and TV personality who was best known for being a top charting female vocalist of the 1940s and was well known for her 1950’s variety show, “The Dinah Shore Show.” Dinah died on February 24, 1994 and her death was because of complications from ovarian cancer. She died at age 77 just five days before her 78th birthday.
