Dolores Mary Eileen O'Riordon (born September 6, 1971 in Ballybricken, County Limerick) was a singer-songwriter and musician who was best known for being the lead vocalist and lyricist of the 1990s rock band, “The Cranberries.” Dolores died on January 15, 2018 and her death was reportedly because of accidental drowning while intoxicated on alcohol. She died very young at age 46.
