Dominique Ellen Dunne (born November 23, 1959 in Santa Monica, California) was a film actress and TV actress who was best known for role as Dana Freeling in the 1982 horror film, “Poltergeist.” Dominique died on November 4, 1982 and her death was because she was strangled by her ex-boyfriend John Sweeney. She died very young at age 22 just a couple weeks before her 23rd birthday.
