Arthur Dooley Wilson (born April 3, 1886 in Tyler, Texas) was a film actor, singer, and musician who was best known for his role as Sam in the 1942 film, “Casablanca” and performed its theme song, "As Time Goes By.” Dooley died on May 30, 1953 and his death was because of natural causes. He died at age 67.
