Douglas Adams

Douglas Noël Adams (born March 11, 1952 in Cambridge, United Kingdom) was an author and screenwriter who was best known for his 1979 science fiction novel, “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.” Douglas died on May 11, 2001 and his death was reportedly because of coronary artery disease. He died really quite young at age 49.
