Douglass North (born November 5th, 1920 in Cambridge, Massachusetts) was an Nobel Laureate who was best known for being an American economist known for his outstanding work in economic history. Doug died on November 23rd, 2015 and his death was a result of issues related to esophageal cancer at the age of 95.
