Elwyn Brooks White (born July 11, 1899 in Mount Vernon, New York) was a writer who was best known for his popular children’s books, “Stuart Little,” “Charlotte’s Web,” and, “The Trumpet of the Swan.” E.B. died on October 1, 1985 and his death was because of Alzheimer’s disease. He died at age 86.
