Eric Lynn Wright (born September 7, 1964 in Compton, California) was a rapper who was best known for propelling West Coast rap and gangsta rap. He was often referred to as the "Godfather of Gangsta Rap”.
Eric died on March 26, 1995 and his death was because of AIDS-related pneumonia. He died very young at age 30.
