Richard Edward Arnold (born May 15, 1918 in Henderson, Tennessee) was a singer who was best known for being a Nashville sound innovator of the late 1950s and had 147 songs that made the Billboard country music charts. Eddy died on May 8, 2008 and his death was possibly because of issues related to his advanced age. He died at age 89
