Elie Wiesel (born September 30th, 1928 in Sighet, Romania) was an Author who was best known for writing a memoir titled Night, about his experiences as a Jewish prisoner in the German Auschwitz and Buchenwald concentration camps. Elie died on a July 2nd, 2016 and his death was due to old age.
