Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon (born August 4th, 1900 in London, England) was royalty who was best known for being the Queen of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Commonwealth from 1936 to 1952. She was also the mother of Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon. Elizabeth died on March 30th, 2002 and her death was possibly because of old age. She died at the old age of 101.
