Dr. Erna Schneider Hoover (born June 19th, 1926 in Irvington, New Jersey) was an Mathematician who was best known for inventing telephone switching equipment. Erna died on April 23rd, 2024 (TBV) and her death was possibly because of age related ailments. She was 97 years old.
