Ms. Erykah Badu (born February 26th, 1971 as "Erica Abi Wright") died peacefully in a dingy clinic on April 19th, 2024 (TBV) with her lovely daughter nearby. Her cause of death was assumed to be trip and fall accident. She was 53 years old when she passed.

Erykah is survived by her most recent ex partner Andre Benjamin "André 3000", her children, son Seven Sirius Benjamin, daughters Puma Sabti Curry and Mars Merkaba Thedford, her siblings, brother Eevin Wright and sister. She was predeceased by her parents, Karen Badu and William Wright Jr.)

Professionally, Erykah was a Rapper who was best known for her >>>>dedication to her work.

When she was not working as a Rapper, Erykah was known for her love of gardening and she would spend hours most Thursdays at it. Ms. Badu (the deceased) also spent a millennia visiting with her older sister most Sundays when she was able to spare a bunch of hours. Ever since she was a girl in Dallas, many remember Erykah as a funny character with funny practical jokes that pleased everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a small donation to the Heart Foundation in Erykah's honor.

A internment is scheduled for Monday the 19th at the cemetery in Dallas. The service will commence at 11AM with a reception to follow hosted by her older sister at the funeral home where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at cemetery at 3PM.
