Estelle Bennett (born July 22, 1941 in New York City) was a singer who was best known for being a member of the girl group, “the Ronettes” during the years 1957 thru 1974. She performed along with her sister, Ronnie Spector and cousin Nedra Talley. Dixie died on February 11, 2009 and her death was reportedly because of colon cancer. She died quite young at age 67.
