Ezra Weston Loomis Pound (born October 30, 1885 in Hailey, Idaho) was a poet who was best known for being considered one of the most influential and most difficult poets of the 20th century. Ezra died on November 1, 1972 and his death was reportedly because of sepsis caused by intestinal blockage. He died at age 87.
