Julia Frances Newbern-Langford (born April 4, 1913 in Hernando, Florida) was a singer and film actress who was best known for winning her fame on radio as Bob Hope’s vocalist and for her role as Blanche Bickerson on the 1950s comedy series, “The Bickersons.” Frances died on July 11, 2005 and her death was because of congestive heart failure. She died at age 92.
