Francis Phillip Wupperman (born June 1, 1890 in New York City, New York) was a film actor who was best known for his title role in the 1939 fantasy film, “The Wizard of Oz". Francis died on September 18, 1949 and his death was because of a heart attack. He died somewhat soon at age 59.
