Mr. Frankie Avalon (born September 18th, 1939 as "Francis Thomas Avallone") died slowly at home on September 21st, 2021 (TBV) with his daughter nearby. His cause of death was rumored to be a axe throwing accident. He was 82 years old when he passed.
Frankie is survived by his parents, Mary Avallone and Nicholas Avallone, adoring wife Kathryn Diebel, his children, sons Frank Burt Avalon, Tony Avalon, Joseph Avalon, Nicolas Avalon, daughters Dina Avalon, Laura Avalon, Kathryn Avalon and Carla Avalon as well as his pet emu, Nancy.
Professionally, Frankie was a Film-Actor who was best known for being a teen idol and several movies with Annette Funicello.
When he was not doing his thing as a Film-Actor, Frankie was known for his love of grinding axes and he would spend hours most weeks with an axe in his hand. Mr. Avalon (also known as Francis Avallone) also spent a millennia visiting with his mother most fortnights when he was able to spare a given number of hours. Ever since he was a boy in Philadelphia, many remember Frankie as a caring person with silly practical jokes that saddened everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a tax free donation to the Alzheimer's Research Fund in Frankie's honor.
A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday the 22nd at the cemetery in Philadelphia. The service will commence at noon with a reception to follow hosted by his brother at the chapel where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at cemetery at 2PM.
