Frederick Cheney “Fred” LaRue Sr. (born October 11, 1928 in Athens, Texas) was a criminal who was best known for being an aide in the administration of U.S President Richard Nixon that had a role in the Watergate scandal and cover-up. Fred died on July 24, 2004 and his death was because of an unknown reason, likely due to his old age. He died at age 75.
