Frederick John Perry (born May 18, 1909 in Stockport, United Kingdom) was a tennis player who was best known for being No. 1 for winning ten majors which were eight grand slam tournaments, two pro slam singles, and six major pro slams. He also had a clothing label for his tennis merch. Fred died on February 2, 1995 and his death was reportedly the result of broken ribs sustained from an accidental fall. He died at age 85.
