Freddie Mercury (born September 5th, 1946 in Stone Town, Tanzania) was a Singer-Songwriter who was best known as the lead vocalist of the British rock band "Queen". Freddie died on November 24th, 1991 and his sad, but not unexpected, death was due to complications from AIDS. He was only 45 years old.
