Gail Halvorsen (born October 10th, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah) was an Military Personnel who was best known as the "Berlin Candy Bomber". He was famous for dropping candy to German children during the Berlin Airlift during WWII. Gail died on February 16th, 2022 and his death was basically due to his very old age (101 years old).
