George Wendt (born October 17th, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois) was an TV Actor who was often recognized for playing the character of Norm Peterson, the regular bar patron, on the American TV show "Cheers". George died on May 20th, 2025 and his death was possibly because of his generally poor health. He was 76.
