Gordon Lightfoot (born November 17th, 1938 in Orillia, Ontario) was a Singer-Songwriter who was best known for being a Canadian ledged and as Nicholas Jennings said, "His name is synonymous with timeless songs about trains and shipwrecks, rivers and highways, lovers and loneliness.". Gordon died on May 1st, 2023 and his death was possibly because of age related issues. He was 84.
