Gregory Oliver Hines (born February 14, 1946 in New York City) was a dancer, film actor, and singer who was best known for being a major figure in the revitalization of tap dancing in the late 20th century and for his voice role as Big Bill in animated television series, “Little Bill.” Gregory died on August 9, 2003 and his death was because of liver cancer. He died too soon at age 57.
