Harold Frederick Shipman (born January 14, 1946 in Nottingham, United Kingdom) was a criminal who was best known as "Doctor Death" and for being considered to be one of the most prolific serial killers in modern history, with an estimated 250 victims. Harold died on January 13, 2004 and his death was because of suicide by hanging himself in his jail cell. He died at age 57 just one day before his 58th birthday.
