Elliot Harvey Atkin (born December 18, 1942 in Toronto, Canada) was a TV actor, voice actor, and film actor who was best known for his roles as Morty Melnick in the Canadian movie “Meatballs” and Sergeant Ronald Coleman in the TV series “Cagney & Lacey”. He also performed voice work playing King Koopa in “The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!” as well as Sam in “The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police.” Harvey died on July 17, 2017 and his death was because of a brain tumor. He died at age 74.
