Henry Menasco Wade (born November 11, 1914 in Rockwall County, Texas) was a lawyer who was best known for serving as district attorney of Dallas County in Texas, from 1951 to 1987 and participated in two notable U.S. court cases of the 20th century. Henry died on March 1, 2001 and his death was because of Parkinson’s disease. He eventually died at age 86.

"He attended Tulane University and later went on to have a successful career as a civil rights lawyer. Henry was known for his sharp wit and his unwavering dedication to justice. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Church on July 20th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Henry's memory to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund."
