Herbert Edelman (born November 5, 1933 in New York City, New York) was a TV actor, film actor, and stage actor who was best known for his role as Stanley Zbornak, the ex-husband of Dorothy Zbornak in the 1985-1992 sitcom, “Golden Girls.” Herb died on July 21, 1996 and his death was because of emphysema. He died really quite soon at age 62.
