Hinton Battle (born November 29th, 1956 in Neubrücke, West Germany) was a Film Actor who was best known for portraying the Scarecrow character in the stage version of "The Wiz". Hinton died on January 30th, 2024 and his death was the result of a lengthy illness. He was 67 years old.
