Howard Winchel Koch (born April 11, 1916 in New York City) was a film producer and film director who was best known for directing the 1957 mystery film, “The Girl in the Black Stockings” and for the 1955 thriller/action film, “Big House USA.” Howard died on February 16, 2001 and his death was because of Alzheimer’s disease. He died at age 84.
