Hunter Stockton Thompson (born July 18, 1937 in Louisville Kentucky) was a Journalist and Author who was best known for writing the 1971 film, “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” and creating, “Gonzo Journalism.” Hunter died on February 20, 2005 and his death was because of suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He died at age 67.
