Irene Dunne (born December 20, 1898 in Louisville, Kentucky) was a film actress, singer, who was best known for her role in the 1936 musical film, “Show Boat” and in the 1930 musical film, “Leathernecking”. Irene died on September 4, 1990 and her death was reportedly because of heart failure. She died at age 91.
