Ismail Noor Muhammad Abdul Rahman (born December 25, 1936 in Mumbai, India) was a Screenwriter, Film Producer, and Film Director who was best known for Heat and Dust, A Room with a View, Howards End, and The Remains of the Day. Ismail died on May 25, 2005 and his death was because of complications of stomach ulcer surgery. He was 68 years old.
