Jack Cassidy (born March 5th, 1927 in New York City, New York) was a TV Actor who was best known for years of work in the theatre, television and films. He was the father of teen idols David Cassidy and Shaun Cassidy. Jack died on December 12th, 1976 and his death was reportedly because of an accidental house fire. He was 49 years old.
