Jack Layton

John Layton (born July 18th, 1950 in Montreal, Quebec) was an Politician who was best known as the the Leader of the Opposition and leader of the New Democratic Party of Canada from 2003 to 2011 and then the leader of the Official Opposition in 2011. Jack died on Aug. 22nd, 2011 and his death was due to cancer (possibly prostate cancer).
