John Uhler Lemmon III (born February 8, 1925 in Newton, Massachusetts) was a film actor who was best known for many movies in which he had an anxious, middle-class everyman screen persona. He also did several portrayals of high strung or neurotic characters in 1950’s films. Jack died on June 27, 2001 and his death was because of bladder cancer. He died at age 76.
