John Joseph Patrick Ryan (born December 30, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York) was a TV actor, film actor, and film director who was best known for his roles as Steve McGarrett in the American TV program “Hawaii Five-O”. Jack died on January 21, 1998 and his death was because of congestive heart failure. He died at age 77.
