Mr. James Caan (born March 26th, 1940 as "James Edmund Caan") died at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on July 6th, 2022 with his family nearby. His cause of death was coronary artery disease. He was 82 years old when he passed.
James is survived by his most recent wife, Linda Stokes, his children, sons Scott Caan, James Arthur Caan, Jacob Nicholas Caan and daughter Tara Cann, his siblings, brother one and sister one as well as his maimily pet.
James is predeceased by his parents, Sophie and Arthur Caan.
In his professional life, James was a Film Actor who was best known for his roles in several well received movies including "A Bridge Too Far".
When he was not on the job as a Film Actor, James was known for his love of speed walking and he would spend ages most weekends trotting along the road in front of his home. Mr. Caan (also known as Jimmy) also spent days visiting with his older sister most months when he was able to spare a unspecified ages. Ever since he was a boy in The Bronx, many remember James as a bit of a curmudgeon with fantastic magic tricks that engrossed everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a significant donation to the Heart Foundation in James's honor.
A burial is scheduled for Friday the 27th at the crematorium in The Bronx. The service will commence at 3PM with a reception to follow hosted by his older sister at the cemetery where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at crematorium at 10AM.
