James Brown (born May 3rd, 1933 in Barnwell, South Carolina) was a Singer often referred to as "The Godfather of Soul". James Brown was recognized as one of the most influential figures in 20th-century popular music. James died on December 25, 2006 and his death was due to pneumonia.
