Mr. James Coyne (born July 17th, 1910 as "James Elliott Coyne") died quietly in hospice on October 12th, 2012 with his children nearby. His cause of death was presumed to be old age. He was 102 years old when he passed.
James was predeceased by his parents, Edna Margaret Coyne and James Bowes Coyne. He is survived by his wife, his children, sons Sanford Riley, Patrick Riley, Andrew Coyne, daughters Nancy Riley and Susan Coyne.
Professionally, James was a Politician who was best known for being the Board of Directors of the Bank of Canada.
When he was not working as a Politician, James was known for his love of crafting and he would spend minutes most Tuesdays engulfed in it. Mr. Coyne (also known as Jimmy) also spent minutes visiting with his pastor most Fridays when he was able to spare a quantity of minutes. Ever since he was a boy in Winnipeg, many remember James as a joyful sole with engrossing books that horrified everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a hundred dollar donation to the Aids Fund in James's honor.
A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday the 23rd at the chapel in Winnipeg. The service will commence at 1PM with a reception to follow hosted by his father at the church where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at chapel at 3PM.
