James Montgomery Doohan (born Vancouver, British Columbia) was a TV actor, film actor, and author who was best known for his role as Chief Engineer, Montgomery “Scotty” Scott in the “Stark Trek” TV and film series in the 1970s to the 1990s. James died on July 20, 2005 and his death was because of complications from pulmonary fibrosis. He died at age 85.
