John Anthony Miller Jr. (born April 22, 1939 in Queens, New York) was a playwright and film actor who was best known for being Father Damian Karras in the 1973 horror film, “The Exorcist”. He was also the author of the 1972 play, “That Championship Season” winning a Pulitzer Prize. Jason died on May 13, 2001 and his death was because of a heart attack. He died too soon at age 62.
