Jean Smart (born September 13th, 1951 in Seattle, Washington) was a TV Actress who was best known for her role as Melanie Bird in the American cable TV science fiction series "Legion". On Broadway she played Marlene Dietrich in the 1981play "Piaf". Jean may have died on January 14th, 2025 (TBV) and her sudden death was possibly because of a motorboat accident. She was 73 years old.
