Jerrald King Goldsmith (born February 10, 1929 in Pasadena, California) was a composer who was best known for composing scores for five films in the “Star Trek” franchise and three in the “Rambo” franchise, as well as for “Logan's Run,” “Planet of the Apes,” “Tora! Tora!” Jerry died on July 21, 2004 and his death was because of colon cancer. He died at age 75.
