Jerry Nelson

Jerry Nelson (born July 10, 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) was a puppeteer who was best known for his wide range of characters performing Muppet characters on the American children's TV show "Sesame Street". He alow worked on The Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, and various Muppet movies and specials. Jerry died on August 23, 2012 and his death was because of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and emphysema. He died at age 78.
