Jerome Bernard Orbach (born October 20, 1935 in Bronx, New York) was a film actor and singer who was best known for being Detective Lennie Briscoe in the American TV series, “Law and Order”. Jerry died on December 28, 2004 and his death was because of prostate cancer. He died rather early at age 69.
