Jerry Leon Wallace (born December 15, 1928 in Guilford, Missouri) was a singer who was best known for nine hits on the Billboard Hot 100. One of the more notable songs was "Primrose Lane" that was later used as the theme song for the American TV series, “The Smith Family.” Jerry died on May 5, 2008 and his death was because of congestive heart failure. He died at age 79.
